Thesis Film(s)

Our thesis films are finally online.

Rebecca Sugar, Peyton Skyler, and i graduated from SVA this May. As traditional animation students, we were required to make thesis films. The three of us decided to create a trilogy.
The films stand alone as separate stories, but also form a larger whole.

Rebecca's film SINGLES is currently being featured on Cartoon Brew TV (http://www.cartoonbrew.com/brewtv/singles.html).

Thesis Film Stills

Here are some screenshots from my thesis film. It is called METROMORPHOSIS, and runs 5:00 minutes.

It was part of a trilogy on which i collaborated with Peyton Skyler and Rebecca Sugar. The three films - Singles, Cat, and Metromorphosis, will be screened in that order.

Metromorphosis was partially hand drawn directly into Flash, partially animated in a photo-collage technique, composited in After Effects.

Bravely, i did all the sound design in Premiere, which was quite painful.
